UL-approved VRx Heavy Duty Vertical Racks deliver the features and functions integrators demand – and include a 10-year warranty. Vertical Racks are available in multiple styles and formats to meet your rack mount equipment needs. Flexible delivery options, thermal management, and optional accessories customize racks to your needs.
Tapped 10-32 rack rails adjust from front to rear to support different depths of electronics. Rails can also be used to move the front face of electronics back into the rack to create additional door clearance. Black zinc-coated rails are stamped with numbered rack increments for easier installation of electronics.
Flush-mount side panels are well-vented for convection cooling.
Independent vented side panels are easily removed by compressing their spring latches and lifting the side panel off the rack frame. Side panel removal enables full access to mounted electronics for maintenance. Panels can be secured using security screws.
Large corner post sections create additional space for running fiber and cable lines to the conduit knockouts in both the top and bottom of the rack. Welded corner sections also increase the strength of the rack.
Rack frame tops and bottoms include convenient NEMA-approved conduit knockouts to enhance cable and wire management options.
Individual racks include a variety of top options – raised-vent panels, solid and vented blank panels, and internal/external mounted fans. Full or partial top coverage provides flexible ceiling-cabling options.
The heavy-duty steel infrastructure of each rack is coated with a durable black powder-coat paint. Textured paint finish lasts for years, and holds up well in heavy-use rack environments.
Environmental need determines whether you use open racks, or enclose the front and rear of each rack. Full-height doors are available in lockable solid-steel and plexiglas styles. Door usage impacts both thermal management and physical equipment security.
Vertical racks include a full line of rack mount accessory options to include: shelves, drawers, work surfaces, cable guides, wire ducts, script lights, and fans.
The top of each rack includes a 21" (12U) rack mount opening for cable management and for mounting a vented top. Cooling fans can be mounted with the vented top to help disperse any heat build-up in the top of the rack.
