MINNEAPOLIS, April 19, 2007 – The striking new Talon 2 Custom Console System from Winsted Technical Interiors is ideal for control situations where wall mounted monitors are not an option. Designed to be a self-contained control room, the Talon 2 envelops operators in an extremely functional, freestanding work environment featuring large format flat panel monitors.

Steel frame construction, Corian® solid work surfaces and thermoformed ABS Talon fingers over a 2-inch steel frame make the Talon 2 a durable and striking addition to any technical environment.

The Talon 2 can house as many as fifteen 40-inch monitors on five vertical frames or twelve 60- inch monitors on four vertical frames. The customizable work surface can be configured to include monitors or touch screens and is available in more than 100 Corian® countertop colors. The base cabinet can be designed to house multiple CPUs, rack electronics, storage or custom needs and is available in more than 50 powder coat colors and finishes as well as more than 200 laminate or veneer choices.

Ergonomic display mounts, keyboard trays and mouse pads reduce both physical and visual stress to operators. Lockable doors, desktop power, data ports, and a scalable power supply are just a few of the features that can be added. Removable side panels and internal conduit system makes cable management easy.
