MINNEAPOLIS, May 2, 2007 – The Matrix Evolution is an innovative console from Winsted Technical Interiors (WTI) designed for seamless integration in a variety of broadcast environments. Matrix Evolution combines the high-end performance of technical furniture with an attractive architectural design without sacrificing functionality.

Enhancing the features of the original Matrix Slat Track System console, WTI designers replaced the rear monitor mount vertical slat track system with a horizontal track system inlaid into the work surface of the desk. Adapt-A-Track is a universal mount system that offers the same flexibility of a slat track system while improving the operator's line of sight to monitor walls and giving the console a cleaner appearance. A Scorpion pole, mounted to the Adapt-A-Track system, enables 2-3 monitor high configurations and is ergonomically designed to match the curvature of the eye.

The Matrix Evolution also includes a desktop turret with built-in rack mounts for electronics and an integrated Adapt-A-Track system ideal for mounting an articulating monitor arm. The interior of the console includes upgraded cable management as well as flexible rack mount, shelf mounting or custom mounting arrangements per project specification. The turret and work surface are clad in Corian® and the cabinet features stainless steel end panels with LED backlit cutouts.
